YOGA AS UNITY IS YOGA AS WHOLENESS, YOGA AS WHOLENESS IS YOGA AS INTEGRITY
Just as all life has come, by way of 3,500,000,000 years of research and
development, from single celled organisms,
your body also has come from the intelligence
of life by way of the somatic intelligence encoded in a single cell.
This gives the human body an inherent integrity, or indivisible wholeness,
far removed from that of any human artefact,
no matter how sophisticated, and far more powerful. An integrity that we can only
express and enjoy to the extent that we articulate the body as a dynamic singularity,
rather than the aggregate of parts the mind makes of it.
The Dynamic
Yoga Training Method uses the
Dynamics of Integrity
(seven principles of action and awareness) to develop whole body activation.
Within this dynamic singularity (sarvangabandha)
sensitivity to obvious and subtle sensations
developes the
intimacy to consciously access the inherent integrity
of the human body, and its ‘relationship’ to mind and spirit.
This is experienced as a process of deep integration
extending from the body, through mind to consciousness, that nourishes the body, quietens
the mind and invites a deep trust in life just as it is.
